The Master in Sociology, with a focus on Migration and Ethnic Studies at the University of Liège (Belgium) is a two-year master’s programme entirely in English. The aim of this programme is to provide students with a critical view of social dynamics with a focus on migration, ethnic relations and diversity. It offers an innovative multidisciplinary approach that includes political, sociological, legal and economic aspects of migration. The various subjects are taught by distinguished academics and professionals.

Liège University is now part of the European Master in Migration Studies (EuMIGS) network (see https://www.eumigs.eu/). Hence, students can either follow the courses entirely at ULiège, or apply during the first year of the Master to move to one of the EuMIGS partner universities for the second year of study, and even join a double diplomation programme. In addition to the advantages of a multidisciplinary approach of the Master in Migration and Ethnic Studies at ULiège, this geographical mobility allows students to observe the dynamics of migration and cultural diversity in two different urban environments.
