Juste Michel Yao Namé
PhD candidate in Political and Social Sciences at Faculty of Social Sciences, CEDEM, University of Liege; I am also an engineer in farming techniques, specialising in agricultural mechanics and rural development (Higher School of Agronomy - Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny) and have a master’s degree in economic analysis and international development, specialising in sustainable development in developing countries (Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International—University of Auvergne). My research relates to remittances, food security, climate change, and rural development. Currently, I am focussing on the ability of migrant remittances to contribute to food security and poverty alleviation.
