Larisa Lara Guerrero
Larisa Lara Guerrero is a PhD Candidate in the field of Migration and Political Sciences, under the joint supervision of the University of Paris VII and the University of Liège. She studied International Relations at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico City and at the Paris Institute of Political Studies as an undergraduate. She holds a Master of Sciences in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London. Larisa Lara is a member from CEDEM since 2016 and a fellow of IC Migrations since 2018. Her research currently focuses on emigration policies, the role of diasporas in conflict zones, and political transnationalism. In her PhD dissertation, she intends to explore the transnational and political mobilisation of the Mexican migrants established in Paris and Brussels. She has worked as teaching assistant in Sciences Po Paris for the Master in International Security and for the University of Liège for the Master program in Immigration Studies.
