CEDEM counts with a dynamic and international team of scholars conducting empirically and theoretically grounded research on migration, ethnic relations and racism from a multidisciplinary perspective.
CEDEM researchers have a strong research expertise on topics such as: migration trends, migrants' socio-political mobilisation, migration policy, migration and arts, transnationalism, citizenship, Islam in Europe.
CEDEM has been awarded numerous research grants from organisations such as FRS-FNRS, Belspo, the European Commission, ERC, the Council of Europe, IOM, etc.
CEDEM offers a wide range of courses studying migration and the phenomena that can accompany them from a multidisciplinary perspective.
