IMISCOE Spring Conference 2026 : Governing and Experiencing Migration in Contentious Times
The Centre for Ethnic and Migration Studies (CEDEM) of the University of Liège will host the 2026 IMISCOE Spring Conference in Liège between 16-18 March 2026. The conference theme will be "Governing and Experiencing Migration in Contentious Times". The call for Papers is open until september 5, 2025. It can be found at on IMISCOE website.
IMISCOE network
IMISCOE (International Migration Research Network) is the largest interdisciplinary network of scholars in the field of migration. The research network currently consists of 68 research institutes from different countries around the world and from various disciplines including sociology, political science, anthropology, economics, law, demography, public administration, geography and history.
IMISCOE and CEDEM
Since 1st of April 2022, the coordination of IMISCOE moved to the University of Liege, with Jean-Michel Lafleur and Daniela Vintila as coordinators. The network is involved in a wide array of activities, including research, publications, events, training of young researchers and communication about results of its research.
